CAB Training

If you are part of the Citizens Advice Bureau, then you know how important training is to the organisation. Mary has been involved in the CAB for many years, starting as a voluntary Adviser, and subsequently as a Guidance Tutor, Advice Session Supervisor and an in-bureau Trainer.

Mary is approved by Citizens Advice to deliver their courses:

• Advice Session Supervisor
• Gateway
• Various Benefits courses
• Introduction to Diagnosing Employment Enquiries

We can also deliver training to other organisations that need knowledge of these subjects, particularly Welfare Benefits.

We can either run standard training courses in:

• The QuickBenefit Calculator
• Identifying Potential Benefit Entitlement
• Benefits for trainees
• Tax Credits
• ESA (Employment and Support Allowance)
• Sickness & Disability Benefits

Or provide tailored training to suit your particular needs, e.g.

• A specific range of benefits (e.g. ‘in work’ or ‘families’)
• Training for a specific role, e.g. supervisors
• Training on a bespoke project
